Welcome to our site with photos of bees. 

We are Oliver and Jelena from Serbia. Since year 2000 we have been beekeeping in Klajic, a mountain village in the south of Serbia. It is an almost uninhabited village without traffic or industry, but with forests, pastures, streams and wild animals.

Beekeeping is our hobby. We have around 40 bee colonies, which bring enough honey to cover the expenses and our own consumption.

We started photographing bees since we got our first digital camera. Now we don't go to the apiary without it. Bees are not easy to take a picture of. They are fast and dynamic and they quickly change positions. Still, out of many we managed to select some of the pictures that you can see here.
